She has a wealth of practical experience and knowledge gained from working in private practice and as in-house counsel. As well as being a Solicitor, she is also a CEDR Accredited Mediator and Member of the Chartered Management Institute, giving her a unique commercial approach that cuts to the heart of the issue and delivers practical business minded results for clients.
Claire-Elaine has a specialist interest in commercial, agricultural and residential property dispute resolution and risk management work. She has a particular passion for landlord & tenant, proactive estate and portfolio management, facilitating developments, resolving telecommunications problems and assisting in the resolution of real estate disputes such as boundaries, rights of way or restrictive covenants. Claire-Elaine also has more niche experience in defending bulk litigation on behalf of developers and local authorities, as well as dealing with professional negligence claims against professionals.
In a more general capacity, Claire-Elaine works with businesses to resolve a range of commercial issues and to support strategic management initiatives.
Claire-Elaine sits on the West Midlands Regional Board of the Chartered Management Institute. She is an active member of the Property Litigation Association and the Agricultural Law Association. She also teaches Dispute Resolution, Real Estate Law, Intellectual Property Law and Professional Skills at the University of Law and University College of Estate Management.
