James leads the IT department who develop, maintain and support our key technology.
He works closely with our other support teams creating and enhancing systems and practices to create efficiency and performance.
James also assists our Board of Directors by providing them with Management Information and insights.

James and the I.T. department try to make the working experience at gunnercooke as user-friendly and efficient as possible, for both our partners and their support teams. They do this by offerring training materials, one-to-one and group tutoring, and an approachable and knowledgeable service desk, free from “raising a ticket” or automated responses.
While achieving the above, the accessibility and security of gunnercooke clients’ data is of paramout importance. James and his team ensure this by keeping ourselves and our partners informed of current risk areas and threats, and by keeping internal systems up to date.

As a previous solicitor, James understands what our partners need from their I.T. systems and how they think. This helps him to solve their problems quickly.
A dab-hand with Excel, James assists Microsoft and Delft University of Technology to teach data analysis using Excel via the edX e-learning platform. This helps him to keep the finance systems running smoothly!
