Expertise

Dr. Uwe Henkenborg is a lawyer and Partner. He works mainly from the offices in Munich and Berlin.  

His focus is on advising internationally active companies and entrepreneurs on transactions and projects. His practice focuses on international business law for companies based in Germany, the European Union, the United States and Japan. He accompanies entrepreneurs and companies internationally and builds bridges in the process. 

His core areas of practice include IP (with a particular focus on trademark law), media and entertainment. Uwe has extensive expertise in all legal aspects related to intellectual property, licensing and media.

His experience covers a wide range of transactions. Among others, he has been involved in the negotiation and closing of mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, corporate divestitures and restructurings. He has negotiated joint ventures and license agreements as well as franchise agreements and distribution agreements. 

In keeping with the nature of his professional specialization, Uwe also works forensically. He represents clients in litigation before state courts and arbitration tribunals.
