Ginevra is a pensions law expert with over 20 years’ experience advising on pensions law and regulation. Ginevra advises UK employers, pension scheme trustees and corporate groups on the full range of pensions law and regulatory matters. Her practice encompasses private-sector pension schemes and pension schemes within the charities sector; she also advises many clients in relation to public sector pension schemes, such as the local government pension scheme.

Ginevra is a member of the Association of Pensions Lawyers and has been an active member of the South Yorkshire Pensions Group and has previously spoken at seminars. She also writes practice notes and legal updates for LexisNexis.

  • Advising numerous employers on Local Government Pension Scheme admission including drafting admission documentation and contractual protections against pension liabilities and liaising with all parties involved.
  • Advising the trustee board of two separate pension schemes on general compliance issues including downsizing and restructuring the schemes to remove them from the master trust regime.
  • Advising on a complex pension benefit complaint including application to the Pensions Ombudsman.
