Jill specialises in all aspects of banking but with a particular specialism in real estate finance from hotels and shopping centres to residential and commercial developments. Matters range from new debt, refinancing or restructuring existing debt to sub-participation arrangements.  Jill has a broad understanding of all areas which would have an impact on the financing arrangements from construction procurement methods, property title reporting, corporate structuring considerations, planning and tax.

Jill especially relishes the project management and delivery aspects of her work drawing on her strong interpersonal and communication skill.  She is proactive and dedicated to deliver each transaction on time, to her clients’ requirements and to the highest of standards.

  • PlaceFirst – Advising PlaceFirst on its private equity and development facility financing arrangements from ESO to facilitate the redevelopment of derelict homes across the North-West with a target of releasing 1,000 units over a 5-year period.
  • Kitewood – Acting for Kitewood Properties in connection with its c.£15 million investment facilities with Lloyds Bank PLC secured across 7 sites.
  • Barclays Bank plc– Sigma/Gatehouse – Advised Barclays Bank plc in respect of a total of £70 million development and investment facilities to a joint venture vehicle for the purposes of acquiring, developing and then managing a total of 987 residential units across 15 PRS sites throughout the northwest of England.
  • Urban Splash – Advising Urban Splash on its £13.5 million development facility agreement from Lloyds Bank PLC in respect of the residential development at Lakeshore Timber, Bristol.
  • Santander – Acting for Santander in respect of a £5m facility to Launcelot Investments (UK) Limited to finance the purchase of 30 Furnival Street, London EC4A.
  • HSBC Bank PLC – Acted for HSBC in respect of senior facilities to refinance existing facilities to the Bluemantle Group. The HSBC senior facilities, together with Longbow mezzanine facilities, were to be utilised to refinance the existing indebtedness of Bluemantle and assist in its turnaround into a performing concern.
