Ed is a highly experienced English qualified lawyer specialising in Banking & Finance. Ed has advised lenders and corporate borrowers in most sectors, including project and infrastructure finance, trade finance, asset and receivables finance and structured finance, as well as issuers and Corporate Trustees, agents and other service providers in the debt capital markets. Ed’s experience includes cross border lending and security, and financial disputes. Ed gives clear, practical and pragmatic advice.

Ed has spent the majority of his legal career in private practice in the City and most recently in-house at a major international bank. Ed has also worked in Hong Kong, to where he was seconded for two years by his previous law firm to lead that firm’s local banking practice. Ed is Special Adviser to the Loan Capital & Capital Markets Committee of The Association of Corporate Trustees (TACT) and a part-time tutor in banking law and corporate law at BPP University law school in London.
