gunnercooke has led the sell-side legal advice to The Experiential Learning Group (TELG) on its sale to Alchemist Group, forming a new powerhouse in behaviour-based leadership and sales development.
The legal work for TELG shareholders Joe Fredericks and Charlie Swan was led by Matthew Searle, Corporate Partner at gunnercooke. Financial and corporate finance advice was provided by BTG.
The transaction brings together TELG’s three specialist brands, PCA, PCA Law and Youd Andrews, with Alchemist Group’s growing portfolio of best-in-class experiential learning businesses, alongside its collaboration with RAIN Group.
TELG is widely recognised for its innovative, practice-led approach to experiential learning, delivering high-impact leadership and sales development programmes to some of the world’s most respected organisations. The group has supported more than 300,000 professionals across 60 countries, including FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies and leading international law firms.
The acquisition significantly strengthens Alchemist Group’s experiential learning capabilities, particularly in leadership development, and supports its strategy to scale globally without compromising depth or quality. The transaction was supported by Alchemist Group’s sponsor, Horizon Capital, and builds on Alchemist’s acquisition of RAIN Group in November 2024.
