Law firm gunnercooke advised AskGaiusTM on the contractual aspects of the device. The team was led by AI and IP Partner Nicky Androsov, assisted by Olga Antonova (senior associate), Holly Joseph (trainee solicitor) and Sasha Androsov (trainee solicitor).

AskGaius Limited has launched AskGaiusTM, a portable AI stored on a plug in and play device that works offline and does not send data to a server either locally or to the cloud.  AskGaiusTM says the device is designed for those asking for AI infrastructure that is:

Green: consuming less energy than existing AI solutions.
Accessible: no tokens charged for sending prompts.
Individualised – the AI is personal to each individual user.
Universal – useable in any location and across all major computer operating systems.
Secure – providing quantum resistant security for sensitive information.

Dr. Andrew Burnie, CEO and Co-Founder of AskGaiusTM, commented: “As the AI industry continues to expand, getting the right infrastructure is going to become increasingly important. We are delighted to have partners such as Nicky Androsov and her team that bring real depth of understanding to what we are building. In gunnercooke we are delighted to have support uniquely able to keep pace with our rapidly growing needs and able to navigate the complexity of an unpredictable industry.”

Nicky Androsov, Partner at gunnercooke, commented: “The AI sector is evolving rapidly, whilst infrastructure and standards are still developing. We are proud to have assisted with this important project at the frontier of AI advancements, particularly given the growing global focus on how to make AI ecologically friendly, secure and accessible.”
