gunnercooke appoints tech media and finance strategist Guy Avshalom as International Corporate Strategic Partner
gunnercooke, a leading global law firm, has announced the appointment of Guy Avshalom as an International Corporate Strategic Partner. With over 25 years of experience structuring and executing complex, multi-jurisdictional deals, Guy brings expertise in corporate strategy and M&A to the firm.
Specialising in high-value cross-border transactions, Guy has worked with companies, funds, family offices, and high-profile entrepreneurs across the UK, US, UAE, and Israel. His extensive experience includes leading high-stakes negotiations, overseeing strategic growth initiatives, and advising on a wide range of industries including venture capital, entertainment, corporate finance, real estate, and private equity.
Guy has held a variety of executive leadership roles, including serving as General Counsel and COO of Lionsgate UK, where he was responsible for overseeing and negotiating a broad spectrum of international deals, ranging from M&A, film and slate financing, and cross boarder partnerships.
At gunnercooke, Guy will continue to advise on a diverse range of areas, including venture capital, growth investments, cross-border M&A, strategic advisory for companies and investors, as well as navigating complex restructuring, special situations, in TMT, entertainment, finance, real estate, and international tax.
