Dr. Christoph Dally has practised as a lawyer since 2016 and is a certified specialist in IT law. His practice focuses on online retail and digital business models. He advises e-commerce merchants operating their own web shops and selling on third-party marketplaces on an ongoing basis on unfair competition matters, trademark and design law including trademark filings, as well as on regulatory and compliance issues and the implementation of new EU requirements. He guides international ventures through market entry in Germany and the set-up of legally sound distribution structures, including the drafting of IT, distribution and platform agreements and the legal texts for online offerings.

Chris is also a highly experienced litigator. He has conducted many court proceedings in unfair competition law and intellectual property, in particular trademark disputes, acting for both claimants and defendants. He supports his clients at every stage, from the initial warning letter and the filing of a protective letter through preliminary injunction proceedings to the main action. Clients value that he never looks at the individual point in dispute alone but keeps the entire conflict and the subsequent proceedings in view, and that he develops workable solutions even in situations that appear hopeless.

Alongside his legal practice, he lectures in IT and media law at FOM University of Applied Sciences (FOM Hochschule für Oekonomie & Management).
