Joy is an experienced agricultural/rural and commercial property lawyer specialising, inter alia, in freehold and leasehold property transactions – agricultural/rural, commercial and mixed-use acquisitions and disposals; unregistered land registrations; adverse possession; boundary rectification; farm business tenancies; AHA ’86 succession; estate and succession planning; commercial leases; assignments;  residential leasehold extensions; easements,  exclusivity and option agreements; development sites; portfolio acquisitions; bridging loans and legal charges.

After her first two years as an NQE, Joy took a break from law to raise her two children during which time she reverted back to her full-time role as a secondary school teacher, returning to law seven years later, acquiring a further seventeen years’ experience in agricultural and commercial property matters, and has been a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association for the last ten years.
