Dispute Resolution

Expertise

Nikki is an English qualified lawyer with many years’ experience in general practice. She is an approachable, able, hardworking and pragmatic individual who is focussed on achieving the best outcomes for the client. Her focus is on listening and getting to grips with the heart of the matter and, as a result, is able to give sound, practical and measured advice in a clear and concise way. She is commercial and, where possible, is keen to save clients’ stress, time and costs.

Being in general practice has given Nikki an extremely comprehensive knowledge in a wide variety of areas, including commercial and contractual law and rights to property. She has represented well-known clients in the retail sector as well as private clients.

In 2010, she became the senior partner in the dispute resolution department of a niche Anglo–Nordic boutique law firm. She was able to bring her experience in advising clients how best to resolve their disputes; whether by identifying a compromise solution that achieved the best possible result or at times commencing, prosecuting and, more often than not, succeeding in obtaining a very satisfactory judicial determination. She has represented clients in both the High Court and County Courts and also acted in matters cross border in Switzerland, Denmark and Greece. The disputes that Nikki worked on involved all manner of commercial and property law and often involved interim and final relief.

With her background in commercial and property law, Nikki became an ombudsman, responsible for writing final and binding decisions in the insurance and mortgage sectors. Her decisions resulted in many applicants being awarded significant compensation.
