Walton is an English qualified solicitor specialising in corporate and commercial matters and overseeing international and domestic litigation.

Walton largely works for UK based, non-quoted, often owner managed companies, his work frequently involves overseas transactions.

 

Walton has for over 25 years worked for a wide range of clients acquiring and selling companies and assets, advising them commercially on contracts, terms of business and employment issues, as well as assisting with business management objectives. Walton frequently advises company boards and holds non-executive directorships. As founder and Senior Partner of a recently merged central London law practice, he understands well, both the commercial and the legal challenges facing companies today, and strongly believes that this experience helps build and maintain long term relationships with his clients.

In addition to commercial work, Walton has extensive litigation experience in the UK and overseas. He regularly liaises with an established network of overseas lawyers on multi jurisdiction transactions. He has assisted the British record and film industries on matters relating to both copyright and piracy.  He has managed international distressed sovereign debt funds and is currently working with the management team of an international litigation debt fund.
