Andreas Ortlepp has been advising and representing companies and entrepreneurs for over 20 years in matters of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate succession (including related inheritance law issues), and contract law – particularly in commercial leasing and real estate transactions.

Moreover, Andreas regularly advises his clients on matters of employment law, including international employment law and the use of third-party personnel both nationally and internationally. In doing so, Andrea has specialises in advising foreign entrepreneurs and businesses seeking to establish a presence in Germany with a focus on Scandinavian countries and Sweden in particular.

Andreas has particular sector specific expertise and experience in advising companies in the fibre-optic sector, IT service providers, and on M&A transactions in highly regulated industries such as healthcare and telecommunications.

When required by his clients’ interests and unavoidable, Andreas conducts litigation in his areas of practice before the ordinary courts, including labour courts, as well as administrative, social and financial courts, including any necessary preliminary proceedings and before arbitration tribunals. He also has experience as an arbitrator himself.

Andreas holds an LL.M. in European Law and has successfully completed specialist legal training in medical law.
