He works closely with contractors, developers, consultants, and subcontractors across a range of infrastructure and construction projects, delivering commercially focused advice and practical solutions in high-pressure environments.

Connor has particular expertise in acting for major housebuilders, contractors, and subcontractors in recovery actions, including cladding disputes, retention claims, and statutory demands.   • Successfully leading two adjudications for a local Council against a subcontractor relating to payment issues on legacy projects, resulting in a successful Decision and a favourable settlement for the client respectively.
  • Assisting in a large-scale disclosure exercise for a major housebuilding client involved in an ongoing market investigation, managing and reviewing documents across multiple tranches.
  • Acting in a high-value subrogated claim against a timber frame subcontractor concerning significant defects at a care home, leading to a favourable pre-trial settlement.
  • Providing pre-action advice and strategic support to a local NHS Trust, including drafting a Letter of Claim to encourage settlement between the parties.
  • Managing a subrogated recovery action for a local authority against a subcontractor for defective works at a local transport hub, including advising on international legal implications prior to issue at Court.
