gunnercooke makes leading AI tool Legora available firmwide

December 10, 2025

gunnercooke is the latest top 100 law firm, and the first with a fee share model, to partner with Legora, making the AI operating system available to all its lawyers globally.

gunnercooke made the decision after side-by-side trials of multiple AI solutions led by a group of Innovation Partners over the summer.

Hayden Cooke, gunnercooke Chief of Staff, commented: “The gunnercooke model is well positioned for the changes being driven by AI. Our trusted advisor-led model, lean overheads, focus on value-based pricing and lack of billing targets means clients and lawyers will feel the benefits of our AI adoption.

Legora is one of the most impressive tech businesses I have ever worked with, and the feedback has been electric. Partnering with them gives us the best possible foundation to build our innovation and AI strategy, delivering tangible wins for our clients and our people.

I’m excited to be able to make Legora available to lawyers at gunnercooke. Our focus will now turn to supporting our lawyers through this immense transition, at every stage of their careers.”

Technology Partner at gunnercooke, Steven Strassheim, added: “2025 has felt like an inflection point for GenAI adoption in many sectors including legal services.  When combined with optimised processes and quality data, AI creates transformational opportunities for how we deliver legal services.

Legora is a platform in which we can leverage our expertise and automate routine tasks while ensuring our sector knowledge and strategic counsel remain at the heart of client relationships.  This isn’t just about efficiency gains.  It’s about adapting our workflows to enhance the quality, precision and pace of service delivery, creating more time to spend with clients, understanding their challenges and applying our experience where it adds most value.”

Legora is a market-leading AI platform specifically for the legal sector. The productivity platform includes a comprehensive suite of AI capabilities including document review and drafting, bulk document review and analysis, automated workflows for multi-step legal tasks, legal research, and collaborative workspaces.

The security for the workspace is law firm-grade, meaning security and confidentiality are front-and-centre. The company recently won Technology Product or Service of the Year at the Legal Technology Awards, and is used by hundreds of leading law firms around the world

gunnercooke is continuing to invest in its Tech and Innovation functions, with new hires to be announced early next year.
