gunnercooke opens Berlin office with key hire
Leading challenger law firm gunnercooke has opened its first international office in Germany with the hire of DFW Executive Partner Wolfgang Richter.
Richter joins gunnercooke as Managing Partner of the Berlin-based office. He specialises in business and financial law with expertise in blockchain and crypto currency structures.
gunnercooke co-founder, Darryl Cooke, said: ““Ten years ago we set out to create a new law firm giving lawyers control over their lives. I’m proud to say we have achieved just that. Now we’ve proven that the model is successful, it’s time to take gunnercooke international. And this is just the start of our overseas expansion. Our vision is to be able to open one or two offices per year as we set out on our international journey.”
Co-founder, Sarah Goulbourne, added: “We are delighted to welcome Wolfgang Richter to our firm. Wolfgang is one of Germany’s leading corporate lawyers and the perfect candidate to set up our German office; the first of many overseas offices for gunnercooke.”
