International law firm gunnercooke has helped facilitate the sale of Stagedoor App UK Limited to Trafalgar Entertainment Group (TEG) for an undisclosed sum.

Kyri Papantoniou, Corporate Partner at gunnercooke with over 20 years’ M&A experience, was lead legal advisor to the principal shareholders of Stagedoor App UK Limited.

Founded by Michael Hadjijoseph and Alex Cican, Stagedoor App UK Limited established itself as London’s most comprehensive and innovative theatre guide.

The app includes personalised recommendations, thousands of audience and critic reviews and a seamless booking platform.

The business has been purchased by global live entertainment business TEG as part of its ambitious growth plans which has already seen it acquire HQ Theatres, Stagecoach Performing Arts and Helen O’Grady Drama Academy.

Based in Surrey, TEG continues to build its ticketing division and Stagedoor forms part of its strategy to increase sales and provide value added services to customers and theatre fans across the country.
