House of Books & Friends launches Business Club for purpose-led businesses

March 22, 2024

gunnercooke-founded purpose-led bookshop, House of Books & Friends, is welcoming businesses to join its new and exclusive, ‘House of Business Friends’.

This is a unique opportunity for businesses to connect with like-minded purpose-driven leaders and to help deliver change in their communities. Businesses are increasingly looking to find their purpose as conscious consumers become increasingly aware of where they spend their pounds and employees become more aware of the value they deliver.

The exclusive ‘Salomons Membership’ for 25 Founding Members also includes the unique opportunity to run the bookshop for the day, a Business Leader’s Dinner and hire of our Grade II* listed events space for your own event.

We have two memberships available designed specifically for small businesses and then for larger who would like their Leadership Team to be involved, both will become an integral part of House of Books & Friends’ story.

Darryl Cooke comments: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive reception received since we opened House of Books & Friends. Now having been established for over a year, we want to welcome businesses to join us on this exciting journey as we continue to grow.

“We know that building and leading a successful business can sometimes feel like a solitary journey. Our Founding Members will form a community of businesses who love what we do and want to help us do more of it. This is a chance for organisations and their leaders to build connections, make a difference in their community and to support a special and truly unique concept. It’s a Business Club like no other.”

Memberships start at £100 per month, with two options available, the Salomons Membership and the Gladstone Membership.
