Local success story: gunnercooke supports Just Egg sale to industry leader Noble Foods

gunnercooke has advised entrepreneur Pankaj Pancholi, along with his sons Nishal Pancholi and Sagar Pancholi, on the successful sale of their family-run business, Just Egg, to Noble Foods Limited.

The transaction completed on 2nd June 2025, marks a significant milestone for the Pancholi family and represents a standout local success story in Leicestershire.

gunnercooke’s team, including Corporate Partner Jahid Ali and his team, Hasin Ali, and Riann Khan, advised the Pancholi family throughout the transaction. They were also assisted by Emma Tegerdine (Employment), Bev Simms (Property) and Marc Selby (Tax). The team worked closely with Dains, the family’s accountants, and coordinated negotiations with Ashfords, legal representatives for Noble Foods.

Founded by Pankaj Pancholi, Just Egg has grown from a local business into a nationally recognised brand. The business has expanded rapidly, cementing its reputation as a premier manufacturer of Hard-Boiled Eggs, Poached Eggs and Egg Mayonnaise.
