In recent years, Alexander has worked intensively within the real estate industry and (Web3) real estate investment banking. His focus is on real estate finance and the implementation of complex structures for the ownership, development and financing of real estate.

Together with the global market-leading gunnercooke team for Blockchain, Cryptoassets, Smart Contracts and DeFi, he supports his clients in particular in the implementation of Web3-based real estate financing, management and transactions.

Currently, the challenge of ESG-compliant real estate financing and the connection of blockchain with green building is also the focus of his work.

With his expertise, he also supports gunnercooke’s multidisciplinary ESG practice group as a partner.

He is not only an experienced lawyer, but also a real estate investor and real estate multi-entrepreneur himself. He likes to participate as a strategic investor in innovative PropTech and RE Tech startups.

Alexander is convinced that profound advice and representation in real estate issues, even in the age of Web3 and blockchain, is only possible with the appropriate structural background knowledge. That’s why he has gone back into education and is currently completing his architecture and civil engineering studies.
