About Ash

Ash practices law in both the UK and New York, specialising in Privacy, FinTech, and Crypto and Blockchain.

She advises on digital identities (including the European Digital Identity Wallet, eIDAS and eID), encryption solutions for blockchain entities, such as Zero Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) and Secure Multi Party Computations (SMPC), and the encryption elements of various privacy coins and privacy-compliant protocols, supply-chains and DAOs.    She has advised governments on digital assets and smartcontracts, and assisted with launching a Layer 0 protocol and related tokens.

Ash’s privacy practice encompasses US laws such as the CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, FACTA, Graham-Leach-Bliley Act, and FERPA, and UK laws including GDPR and PECR.  She also advises on artificial intelligence.

  • Co-Chair of the Privacy Working Group of the International Association of Trusted Blockchain Applications (https://inatba.org/), (2022-2023) where she explored developments regarding privacy in and for blockchain including (among others) ZKPs (zero knowledge proofs), and SMPC (secure multi-party computations).
