He specialises in financial services with a focus on investment funds (regulated and unregulated), FinTech companies, crypto and blockchain projects and has experience with different jurisdictions and regulators (e.g., UK, EU, Singapore).

Gilles advises a broad range of entrepreneurs, companies and financial institutions on all aspects of EU and UK corporate and financial regulations. This includes advisory, project and transactional work in connection with the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive, the Capital Requirements Directive and Regulation, the FCA Handbook and PRA Rulebook (including conduct of business obligations and financial promotions), the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive, the Undertaking for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities and regulatory perimeter questions. He also acts for entities involved in the blockchain and crypto environment and has experience with non-European and European regulations, including the EU Digital Operational Resilience Act and Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation.
