Lucina also advises on Children Law matters in the Global Mobility space. She advises individuals and also works with Global Mobility Teams within businesses and organisations, enhancing their relocation support services offering.

Lucina has practiced in Jersey, Channel Islands, working with one of the Island’s leading Family Law Advocates.

Lucina’s international practice is enhanced by her language skills (English, French, German and Italian) and she studied Modern Languages at Oxford University.

  • Representing a client of a multinational family whose child had been wrongfully removed from the UK by the other parent. Securing a series of robust urgent orders at the Central Family Court in London preventing abduction, including a disclosure order upon a third party as to the whereabouts of the child.
  • Securing a stay of execution of an order pending an application to the Family Division of the High Court for permission to appeal a final order.
  • Assisting a client in gaining permission from the court to relocate with the children from the UK to Spain.
  • Representing a client of a multinational family whose former partner was Russian and threatened abduction of the child to Russia. Obtaining urgent orders to prevent abduction including removal of the child’s passport and a permanent prohibition on travel to Russia or any other non-Hague Convention jurisdiction.
  • Successfully negotiating on behalf of a client directly with the other parent to agree a consent order for the client to relocate overseas with the children.
  • Representing a client whose former partner persistently breached court orders relating to their child, resulting in successful enforcement and a penal notice being attached to the order.
