Michael has over 30 years’ experience in M&A and generally assisting his clients with their businesses and assisting them to achieve their business objectives.  This includes putting teams of lawyers together for multi-jurisdiction transactions and other matters.

Michael enjoys providing pragmatic sensible advice to his clients some of whom he has been advising for 30 years.  He strongly believes that creating strong professional partnerships gives his clients the business edge.

Michael also has extensive experience in advising on commercial matters, including business structuring, IP and employment matters.  He is business development chair and director of Globalaw, the leading international network with over 85 law firms, of which gunnercooke is the member for England and Wales.  In this way he connects and services his clients globally.
