  • A £35m apart-hotel in London by way of the grant of a new overriding 999-year leasehold interest out of a complex freehold title structure.
  • A £25m warehouse in London by way of the acquisition of a freehold interest subject to a single occupational lease.
  • A £21m warehouse in Leeds by way of the acquisition of a 125-year leasehold interest subject to a single occupational lease.
  • A £5m retail property in Bedford by way of the acquisition of a freehold interest subject to a single occupational lease.
  • Acquisition of a multi-let building for £6.7m in Peterborough.
  • Acquisition of a £30m multi let office building in West London.

Sales/ disposals:

  • Varied experience in selling properties in a range of sectors at varied prices. This included the sale of a small office building in London and separately two large multi-let properties also in London as well as acting for a well known pension fund in the sale of a large office building.
  • Assisted in the sale of the business and property assets of a large US private equity fund, including five income producing regional office parks. Reported by way of a certificate of title for each property.
  • Assisted on the sale of a portfolio of over 30 children’s nurseries for a French institutional investor.

Landlord and Tenant work

  • Acted for a serviced office operator client that took leases of whole buildings in Soho and Charlotte Street at rents circa £850k per annum.
  • Acted for a leisure client that took a lease of an existing cinema and separately committed to a lease of cinema to be built by the local authority as part of a regeneration project.
  • Acted for a family trust that took multiple restaurant leases in the West End at rents of approximately £130k per annum.
  • Acted for a well-known coffee chain in taking numerous leases of units across the country.
  • Acted for numerous institutional landlords granting leases in shopping centres and retail parks.
