  • Acting as international legal counsel on numerous corporate acquisitions, investments, divestments, restructurings, joint-ventures and partnerships involving enterprises and assets located in Asia, Europe, Middle East and North America.
  • Substantial experience in the hospitality, leisure and gaming sector involving representation of international lodging and gaming companies, private owners, developers and asset managers, in hotel, resort and gaming developments, commercial and residential real estate projects, and related acquisitions and divestments, in many parts of Asia, Europe and Middle East – particularly in Macau, SAR.
  • Representing domestic and international clients in countless foreign direct investments, on-shore and off-shore joint venture arrangements and business collaboration agreements involving businesses and  commercial interests located in Hong Kong, China, Macau and other jurisdictions in Asia.
  • Significant experience in structuring, negotiating and documenting investments in a broad range of asset classes, including equities, senior, mezzanine, subordinated and convertible debt, bonds and promissory notes, and fund originated investments.
  • Advising in the structuring, documentation and financing of corporate and asset acquisitions and large-scale international infrastructure development projects.
  • Supervising and assisting dispute resolution counsel on domestic and cross-border commercial disputes and litigation.
  • Providing regulatory compliance advice covering multiple jurisdictions in Asia and involving a broad range of industry and commerce, including banking and financial services, consumer goods and services, hospitality and gaming, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, real estate and securities.
  • Providing commercial contract support for in-house legal teams and handling major projects and business-critical contracts for companies across a variety of commerce and industry, including purchase and supply chain management (manufacturing through to retailing), franchising, agency and distribution agreements and sponsorship, endorsement and merchandise licensing.
