About the role

We are an established and growing Real Estate Finance Team with a wealth of expertise in the specialist secured lending industry. We are looking to expand the team through the hire of an ambitious and entrepreneurially minded Real Estate Recovery Solicitor.

The team is headed up by a partner and senior associate with extensive industry experience. Our principal clients are specialist property finance lenders and receivers — supporting them in respect of unregulated loan originations and recoveries.

The role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing team with an appetite to develop and build strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.

What you will be doing

Act as a brand ambassador, enhancing the market reputation of the business

• Undertake a caseload of real estate recovery work including security reviews, appointments and advising insolvency professionals on the disposal of real estate assets
• Ensure that each case from start to finish is managed in a proactive and efficient manner
• Manage relationships with lender clients and associated professionals to build trust, confidence and reliability
• Identify and develop new relationships with lenders in the commercial lending market
• Attend exhibitions, seminars and networking events to promote the firm and build relationships with new and existing clients

What we are looking for

Technical experience

• Commercial real estate experience
• Recovery of secured lending experience
• Secured lending origination experience
• Great attention to detail and the ability to think outside the box
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Confident embracing processes and technology
