September 12, 2019

gunnercooke llp has celebrated its ninth anniversary in style at a two-day Symposium in Oxford.

Day One took place at the city’s Saïd Business School where delegates were welcomed by by co-founder, Sarah Goulbourne, and host, TV news presenter, Lucy Meacock.

Keynote talks kicked off with author and commentator, Matthew Syed, who talked about how to cultivate a winning mindset. On Day two, Tim Nelson provided insight into his experiences having been a co-founder of anti-trafficking charity Hope for Justice and Slave-Free Alliance. He was followed by Dr Rangan Chatterjee, best known for the BBC’s Doctor in the House and author of ‘The Stress Solution’, and global coach Andrew Warren of The Results Consultancy.

Delegates proved not to be shy when it came to the various challenges on offer, including drumming and pilates, but the highlight had to be the black-tie dinner.

It’s been a stimulating, bonding and useful two days. We’re already looking forward to our tenth birthday in 2020!
