“Net promoter Score (NPS) is a system used to measure the quality of service given to a client from their feedback. The score ranges from -100 to +100, a “positive” score or NPS above 0 is considered “good”, +50 is “Excellent,” and above 70 is considered “world class”.

Emma trained at a large regional law firm and has specialised in employment law since qualification. She was a Senior Law Lecturer at Nottingham Law School for 9 years, before returning to private practice in 2011. Emma specialises in all aspects of employment law, including defending employment tribunal claims, advising on a wide range of HR issues, drafting employment contacts and consultancy agreements, delivering bespoke training sessions and advising on settlement agreements.

Emma provides clear, commercial advice on all aspects of employment law, including conduct and performance issues, unfair dismissal, discrimination, sickness absence, redundancy, TUPE, the national minimum wage, breach of contract, social media issues, employment law issues arising on the sale of a going concern and confidentiality and competition issues following termination of employment.

Emma was appointed as a fee-paid Employment Judge in May 2020 and regularly sits in the Employment Tribunal.
