Expertise

Kathryn Dodds is a lawyer with training and experience at both a city law firm (Eversheds Sutherland) and a FTSE 100 company (Legal & General). She combined her passions in music and the creative arts with her legal career and now has a practice in the creative industries / web3 / cryptoassets / blockchain space here at gunnercooke LLP.

Kathryn is super grateful to be part of such an innovative area, that is a blank canvass for artists to express themselves and that has the potential to give artists a new way to build a long-term career. Web3 has so many opportunities for artists and companies to combine creative talents (such as music, art and gaming) and she cannot wait to see the sector grow.

gunnercooke was the first major law firm to accept payment in cryptoassets officially and has a market leading cryptoassets, blockchain, web3, smart contracts and DeFi team, acting for over 100 clients.
