Two gunnercooke lawyers shortlisted at Women in Pensions Awards
Two gunnercooke pensions partners have been shortlisted for Lawyer of the Year at the 2021 Women in Pensions Awards.
Helen Miles and Parminder K Latimer both joined the firm last year and have been recognised in the legal category of the industry awards hosted by Professional Pensions.
The Women in Pensions Awards aim to celebrate and recognise the achievements of women in a sector where they are currently under-represented.
The news follows the recent nominations for the firm’s growing pensions team in two categories at the UK Pensions Awards: Pensions Lawyers of the Year and Independent Trustee of the Year.
The appointment of Miles and Latimer in 2020 has seen gunnercooke’s pensions team expand to seven partners, making it one of the largest specialist legal teams in the UK. The growth has also led to a 20% growth in revenue and 30 new client wins.
Helen and Parminder commented: “There are so many fantastic women in the pensions industry, and we’re thrilled to be representing gunnercooke at this year’s awards.”
