Experience

Lina Idrees is a trainee solicitor in Shilpen Savani’s dispute resolution team and works closely with him on a wide range of contentious commercial matters.

Since joining the team in 2023, Lina has developed comprehensive experience across various aspects of dispute resolution work. Lina supports senior team members in managing complex cases and has gained practical experience in litigation processes, including alternative dispute resolution.

Experience Highlights

  • Assisting in pursuing claims for compensation on behalf of 12 ex-directors and victims of the HBoS Reading fraud scandal against one of Britain’s largest financial services groups
  • Assisting in a dispute regarding an individual and an internationally known artist and his corporate vehicle for claims of wrongful interference and related allegations of conspiracy
  • Assisting in a cross-border commercial dispute involving contract formation, that secured a High Court jurisdiction ruling allowing service out of jurisdiction without permission ([2024] EWHC 2541 (Comms))
