Kim is an experienced commercially astute lawyer, specialising in Banking and Real Estate Finance. She is very focussed on getting a deal done and is recognised for her responsiveness and proactivity.

She has over 30 years’ experience in the sector and has acted for a range of debt funds, institutional lenders and borrowers in relation to syndicated and bilateral investment and development loans. Kim has extensive experience in tax driven and offshore structures as well as a range of real estate sectors including hotels, retail (high street and shopping centres), industrial portfolios, housebuilding, student accommodation and care and senior living accommodation.

Kim has acted for clients in compiling standard documents and has assisted in startup lending operations as well as advising established lenders on LMA and own standard documents style loan transactions.

She also acts for a number of borrowers in relation to their loan arrangements.

    • acquisition and refinancing, new build and refurbishments of hotels and hotel portfolios;

    • office and mixed-use properties and
    • residential investments.
  • Start-up lenders and funds in relation to structuring their loans and creating standard documentation.
  • Housebuilders in relation to financing of site assembly, initial planning and development finance as well as general working capital loans.
  • Lenders in relation to overseas loans working with local counsel to finance hotels and property assets in Europe, US and the Middle East.

  • Acting for a loan fund in relation to their standard documents and various loans and Joint venture arrangements in relation to senior and mezzanine development loans.
