Tom is an experienced real estate lawyer with a reputation for giving commercial and pragmatic advice to clients.

He advises on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, commercial leases and agreements for lease, joint venture agreements, the real estate aspects of business asset/share purchases and sales, refinancing and development sites (including advising on development constraints, overage, option agreements, exclusivity agreements and conditional contracts).

Tom has worked with a diverse range of clients, including large institutional pension funds, banks, financial institutions, multinationals, corporate occupiers, shopping centre owners and some of the UK’s most well-known retailers.

Tom understands the business needs of his clients, having spent time in-house advising one of the world’s largest restaurant brands and having previously worked in a large global law firm for over 10 years.

  • Acting for an institutional investor in relation to a high value pre-let of a high-specification service station and showroom to a leading American manufacturer of electric vehicles
