gunnercooke hires 11 new partners over the spring as it continues expansion

Challenger law firm gunnercooke, has recruited 11 new partners as it ramps up its expansion and recruitment.

The new joiners include Russell Dellar, a Real Estate Finance lawyer who joins from Bird & Bird, and Tim Scorer, an Aviation specialist who has moved from Kennedys Law.

Also bolstering the Real Estate team in London are Justin Neal, Alex Vlachos and Bruce Jury, as well as Real Estate Finance expert Dan Fireman. Real Estate Partner Simon Etchells moves from Dentons in Glasgow, as the first partner recruited to gunnercooke Scotland.

The firm’s Manchester office welcomes Private Client Partner, Philippa Torkington, and Corporate Partner Simon Williams. Other spring hires include Dispute Resolution lawyer Jamie Pheasant and gunnercooke Operating Partner Shaun Hughes.

The news comes as the firm announced its launch in Scotland in May, as well as new offices in Birmingham and Germany in the past six months. The firm has further expansion plans for new locations and aims to recruit 60 partners in 2021.
